Female Athlete of the Week – Tara Keegan, Track & Field

Keegan had a busy and successful day at the Muhlenberg Invitational, placing in four events. She won the long jump and triple jump, led off the second-place 4×400 relay team and finished sixth in the 55 meters. Keegan landed in third and fifth in the triple and long jumps, respectively, on the Centennial Conference performance list, and in third place on Muhlenberg’s all-time list in the triple jump.

Male Athlete of the Week – Spencer Liddic, Basketball

Liddic shot 60.6 percent from the field while averaging 17.0 points and 7.7 rebounds to lead the Mules to a 2-1 week. The two wins came in Centennial Conference games, putting Muhlenberg right back in the thick of the playoff chase. Liddic scored a game-high 27 points in a 79-69 win against Haverford that snapped a three-game losing streak. He also recorded his 39th career double-double (two short of the CC record) in a non-conference loss to DeSales. During the week, Liddic moved into third place on the Mules’ all-time scoring list with 1,574 career points.
