Female Athlete of the Week – Alexandra Chili, Basketball
Chili had 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in Muhlenberg’s 63-48 win at Gettysburg in a rematch of last year’s Centennial Conference semifinal. She hit three straight three-pointers in the first 9:05, helping the Mules to a 22-11 lead, and scored six points in a 10-1 second-half run that sealed the game after the Bullets had closed to within four.
Male Athlete of the Week – Malique Killing, BasketballKilling averaged 21.5 points per game to earn MVP honors and lead the Mules to the championship of the Gallaudet Holiday Tournament. He set two Centennial Conference records and two school records by going 20-for-20 from the foul line in a 68-60 win against Valley Forge Christian. For the week, Killing averaged 18.7 points and was 25-for-26 on free throws.
