Homan went 7-1 – all on one day – in the first week of competition for the Muhlenberg wrestling team this season. He finished third at the highly competitive Monarch Invitational, coming back after losing to the eventual 149-pound champion, a returning All-American, in the second round. Homan won all six of his consolation bracket bouts, defeating the No. 5 and No. 2 seeds in the consolation semifinals and final, respectively.
